Transport Co-Ordinator

Hours: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Are you an experienced transport professional with a strong background in logistics and fleet management? Do you excel at leading teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring compliance with transport regulations?

We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive transport manager to oversee our transport operations in Edinburgh, ensuring efficiency, safety, and outstanding service delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the transport department, including route planning and vehicle allocation.
• Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation, including health and safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of the vehicle fleet, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor and control costs, optimizing fuel efficiency and operational expenses.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on performance and compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a transport management role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Stock Control experience
