Assistant Technician

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday, 44 hours per week. Friday/Saturday/Sunday working may be required on an ad hoc voluntary basis

• Provide support to the work force as directed by a Supervisor or Technician
• Carry out work safely as instructed and in line with the relevant SSOW
• Partake in risk assessments and safety observations
• Only undertake work if fully competent and authorised to do so from a Supervisor after receiving an appropriate pre-job brief
• Comply with company and customer procedures
• Report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other issues to relevant personnel
• Apply best practice principles
• Carry out miscellaneous responsibilities as directed by a Supervisor.

• CSCS card or CCNSG Safety Passport
• Comfortable being directed by a Technician or Supervisor
• Highly regulated industry experience
• Basic knowledge of mechanical installation and/or minor civil works

UK National Security Vetting Status: BPSS clearance
