Technical Project Manager - Asset Management Systems

Contract | £400-£500 per day | Remote | Utilities & Environmental Services

Salt is partnered with a leading organisation in the utilities and environmental services industry to source an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of an enterprise Asset Management System. This is a critical role within a broader digital transformation programme, and we are specifically seeking candidates who have delivered similar projects in the past.

The successful candidate will take ownership of delivering Hexagon (formerly Infor) as part of a new system landscape. This includes complex integrations with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, and a bespoke Customer Hub. The project is mid-build, with integration work underway and a target go-live of early 2026.

Please note: to be considered for this role, you must have demonstrable experience leading projects involving Asset Management Systems and related system integrations.

Key Details:

  • Location: Remote (with minimal expected travel)
  • Rate: £400-£500 per day (IR35 determination TBC)
  • Start Date: 14 April 2025
  • Duration: Initial contract to July 2025 (extension likely)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of a new Asset Management System, ensuring seamless integration with other core platforms
  • Oversee data migration, testing phases (Functional, SIT, UAT), and training activities
  • Work closely with internal teams and external delivery partners to meet programme milestones
  • Drive collaboration across stakeholders and ensure structured change management throughout

Essential Experience:

  • Proven track record (5+ years) delivering enterprise-level Asset Management Systems, including fixed asset and maintenance functionality
  • Experience managing system integrations with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or similar
  • Deep understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies - Agile and Waterfall
  • Confident working in complex, transformation-led environments
  • Familiarity with Jira is a plus
