Pharmacist

Evolve is recruiting for a longstanding family-run independent pharmacy chain in Scotland!

Due to retirement, our client is searching for a Pharmacist to join their team in their Carluke branch on a permanent basis to start on the 1st June 2025.

Dispensing circa 7000 items per month and providing standard NHS services, you will be supported by a friendly and reliable team of Dispensers and counter staff.

This is a full-time role working 44 hours per week (4 weekdays and Saturdays) with 30 minutes paid lunch break as the pharmacy does not close for lunch hours.

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist

GPhC registered

Ideally an Independent Prescriber, or keen to complete this.

Personable with great communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with the team and customers.

Ideally located within close proximity to the branch (Lanarkshire area).

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing medication needs and ensuring safe administration of prescriptions.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with GPhC regulations.

Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to address medication-related inquiries.

Demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage inventory and ensure the availability of medications.

Utilise knowledge of anatomy to educate patients on medication effects and interactions.
