Care Support Worker (Personal Assistant)

Location: Perth, PH2 8DX.
Salary: £12.00 per hour.

Contract: Part time, 20 hours / week and overnight support shifts available.

Are you interested in working for an award-winning social care charity?

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support needs, so your support worker role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Michael lives in his own tenancy and needs support to keep his house and garden looking nice. He is a very busy man who works on the farm three days each week. He also likes to keep busy swimming, walking and visiting friends on other farms. In the evening he likes to relax with his ipad, watch a movie, go swimming or visit friends.

Michael's staff support him with all aspects of his life, including shopping, cooking, appointments etc. The hours are 16-hour shifts with overnight support. Michael enjoys his life and needs staff who can drive his car so that they can go for drives and get out and about.

Michael likes staff who listen to him and are fun!
