Various hours of work available, looking to build a team of Personal Assistants (PAs) to support me over 7 days a week, daily shifts 8am to 1pm and 5pm to 6pm except Wednesday when hours are 8am to 6pm. (Tuesday and Thursday Mornings already covered)

About the employerThe employer is a young male wheelchair user.
A team of self-employed personal assistants is sought to support my continued independent life enabling me to enjoy my pastimes. Must be comfortable around animals.
Main Duties- To provide personal care support daily i.e. showering, washing and dressing.
- To assist with transfers to from wheel chair.
- To assist the employer in the preparation and cooking meals.
- Cleaning and tidying the kitchen afterwards, as necessary.
- Supporting with the employer’s attendance of occasional, local outpatient appointments.
- Accompanying on local shopping trips and outings.
- To support with general household tasks i.e. Cleaning, washing, ironing etc.
- Any other task which the employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.
Additional employment information
The successful applicant will be friendly, able to give empathetic support, while respecting the employer’s independence but also able to take instruction.
Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour and like animals.
Please note you will be directly employed by the person (or their representative) that you will be assisting. The Council is not the employer.
