This role will involve the provision of all painting and decorating throughout the College premises.To be successful, you will be a fully qualified time served and experienced painter who can produce high quality work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to painter and decorator general building maintenance related defect reports as required; carrying out initial investigation and repairs/works.
Estimating all materials and advising on the most appropriate finish for each area.
Undertake redecoration works both internally and externally.
Carry out minor plaster work repairs.
Room clearance, manoeuvring of heavy items of furniture and equipment.
Required Skills and Experience: Time served recognised apprenticeship in painting and decorating.
Is qualified to level 3 (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline.Is capable of working to a consistently high standard.
