As a CQC Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to both children and adults in their own homes or community settings, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. In this role, you will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and offer vital emotional support.
Key responsibilities include:- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
- Assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting meal preparation and, where required, feeding.
- Administering and monitoring medication according to individual care plans.
- Helping with mobility and the use of mobility aids.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Engaging clients in activities that promote well-being and independence.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Ensuring clients' safety, well-being, and dignity at all times.
- Reporting any concerns about a client's health or welfare to supervisors.
A minimum of six months' UK experience working with children or adults is also required.
