Community Support Worker

You must have evidence of a good basic education and basic IT skills. You will require good verbal and written communication skills and previous experience of working in a caring environment and working as part of a team. Some knowledge of the mental and physical problems associated with older people and the risks associated with community working are required.
You will need to have good prioritization skills and be able to recognize your own limitations. Recent significant experience of caring for older adults with mental health needs is very desirable for this post. A driving licence is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Please refer to attached job description and person specification. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change.
