We are recruiting on behalf of our client for dedicated and compassionate Family Support Workers to help children, young people, and families overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-agency environment, ensuring families receive the right support at the right time.
In this role, you will work directly with children and families, using evidence-based interventions to drive meaningful change. You will assess needs, develop and coordinate multi-agency support plans, and deliver targeted interventions that promote safeguarding and wellbeing.Strong collaboration with statutory and non-statutory partners will be essential to achieving the best possible outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- GCSE-level education and an NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience delivering evidence-based interventions with children, young people, and families.
- A proven track record of completing assessments that identify needs and inform intervention strategies.
- The ability to escalate issues appropriately, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.
- Strong organisational skills, including planning, chairing meetings, and managing a diverse caseload.
- Analytical skills to assess strengths and weaknesses and develop appropriate support plans.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
