About the Role
We are looking for an experienced part time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Barnet as the Clinical Lead. In this role, you will:
- Provide specialist assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing substance use challenges.
- Offer clinical supervision to prescribing staff, ensuring best practice in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Lead on the implementation of clinical governance procedures, supporting the ongoing development of high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, external agencies, and key partners to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
Contract: Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and benefits will be pro-rata based on contracted hours.

About You
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced professional with a strong background in addiction psychiatry. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications:
- Medical Degree with Basic Medical Training completion.
- Full GMC-UK Registration with a License to Practice.
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- Consultant Psychiatrist on the GMC Specialist Register with a Substance Misuse endorsement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of addiction psychiatry, including opiate substitution therapy, detoxification protocols, and post-detox pharmacology.
- Experience working with substance use and mental health challenges, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Strong understanding of clinical prescribing and governance.
- Flexibility to work across different sites and adapt to service needs.
