The Sales Specialist, NGS Clinical Solutions is leading the promotion and sales of products for the company to academic medical centres, large cancer centers, health systems, and other strategically important key accounts in UK and Ireland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Research and organize quantitative data to implement an effective sales strategy in the territory.
  • Maintain and further develop business partnerships with major customers, and when applicable, collaborate with the Technical Support team to assist with strategic problem solving.
  • Proactively prospect new accounts and prepare information for outgoing sales calls to secure new customers.
  • Maintain a high-level of product and market knowledge.
  • Establish relationships with appropriate company team members to communicate market trends, and identify new and future product needs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences, Master/PhD preferred.
  • A proven background in the Clinical or Life Sciences industry.
  • Experience with complex selling environments, with adaptable interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the decision-making process.
  • Highly organized and comfortable with multi-tasking, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages are a plus.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 50%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in Business Development roles and/or Strategic Account management.
