Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to join our Agricultural division. Based at our Reading, Berkshire branch you would be joining a very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly team and whilst the work is technically challenging, we look to provide a well-structured training program that works in conjunction with Kubota UK.

Much of the repair and service work is carried out on-site so a fully expensed vehicle will be provided. This mainly mobile role means that every day is different, but you still retain the support of the base in Ashford. The majority of our work tends to be with contractors, councils, schools, golf courses and private estates within Kent and the surrounding area.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Overtime will be available and some on-call work will be required.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in the agriculture industry would be ideal but product training is provided. You will already have a solid foundation, ideally possessing a good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics - many of these skills will be interchangeable from related industries.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics
  • Customer Focused
  • Maths and English to GCSE level.
