Financial Controller
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Daily Rate: £350 - £450 (DOE)
About the Role:Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a forward-thinking business in Glasgow for a 6-month contract. This pivotal role will focus on driving transformation and change, overseeing key projects, and designing and implementing efficient financial processes.
As part of a growing and dynamic organisation, you will work closely with senior leadership to optimise financial operations and contribute to the company's strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven finance professional who excels in process improvement and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial transformation projects to enhance financial processes and systems.
- Design, implement, and review financial processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Provide strategic support to senior management on financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Oversee month-end close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements across the finance function.
- Develop and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing insight into financial performance and operational metrics.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience in financial control and process improvement.
- Proven track record of driving financial transformation and change management in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to oversee and manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
- Experience working in a structurally complex organisation is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results on time and within scope.
- Competitive daily rate (£400 - £500/day DOE).
