Personal care assistant required for young male
Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who has autism, ADHD and learning disabilities, to support him in social activities and accessing the community.The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be confident in guiding our client’s son through his daily routine – including encouraging him with everyday hygiene. Our client’s can exhibit challenging behaviour, so it is important for the successful candidate to be confident in managing these behaviours.
Our client’s son is very independent and values consistent routine. Our client’s son enjoys outdoor activities like gardening, DIY, Lego and cars.
The role is 3 hours per week, on a Monday evening ideally, paid at £11.44ph. The role is based in Scunthorpe.Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
