To manage the ward secretarial/administration service and be an integral member of the ward team. To assist the clinical leader, clinical team members and ward-based staff with all aspects of ward/patient related administrative tasks.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for taking minutes of meetings for daily Board rounds on a rota basis together with minuting of Ward Team meetings.

Main duties include ensuring all patient related activity i.e. admission, discharge, section status and demographic information is recorded on electronic patient information system (PARIS) and that general administrative task such as scanning, filing and answering of calls in completed in a timely manner.
