Salary: MPS/UPS (M1 to UPS3) + TLR potential

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a successful and well-regarded secondary school in Luton, with a start date of either January or as soon as possible. Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the continued success of the Maths department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (potential for KS5 depending on experience)
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative initiatives within the department
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being
- Actively engage in the school’s professional development and improvement efforts
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject. Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 is essential, and the ability or willingness to teach KS5 would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Maths and committed to raising student achievement in a supportive and well-established school environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
