We are looking for a Digital Account Executive to join our talented Client Success Department!

This role can be based on a hybrid basis from our Stockton-on-Tees or Newcastle City Centre office.

As an Account Executive, your ultimate goal is to help retailers grow their businesses online by aligning their needs with Visualsoft products and services. To create and deliver an all encompassing ecommerce strategy.

You’ll manage a portfolio of clients immersing yourself with each of their businesses, effectively becoming an extension of their in-house eCommerce team. Your client base will be varied across different industries, and you’ll be committed to providing a bespoke service tailored to the client by gaining a deep understanding of their business.

With your clients at the centre of everything you do, you will be responsible for their growth, satisfaction and relationship with Visualsoft by ensuring they are happy and their online business is growing. Liaising with multiple teams within the agency, you will support the Client Managers and Client Directors to create and deliver collaborative marketing strategies that are aligned with the vision of our clients, designed to deliver strong performance in order to maximise growth opportunities for both the client and Visualsoft.

Working proactively with your Client Director and Client Services Director, you will help identify growth opportunities to further the investment in existing channels and engage clients with new services to secure additional business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the client account, including issuing of invoices, timing plans, estimates and client contact notes.
  • Understand client needs and help develop plans and strategies to address them
  • Work closely with clients to immerse yourself in their business to understand their goals and objectives
  • Help organise a variety of meetings, including room bookings, catering, technology, transport and personnel required.
  • Attend client briefings and gather relevant information/data to support the development of communication strategies and briefs in response.
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
  • Take responsibility for the quality assurance of all services delivered to our clients
Client Growth
  • Build an understanding of clients’ areas of focus and opportunity to ensure relevant and targeted strategies are identified and implemented
  • Ensure that all clients have a strategic vision and roadmap to deliver growth/overcome challenges
  • Lead on campaign creation, planning and measurement
  • Prepare materials for presenting and selling creative work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful campaigns to your clients
  • Monitor campaign performance, providing regular performance reports to clients
Escalations
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively
  • Manage escalations through and to the relevant members of the Client Services team
Department KPIs
  • Align goals to business overarching goals/objectives
  • Support the departmental goals. Develop and agree on and achieve set objectives.
Personal Development
  • Identify and agree personal development needs, and work with your line manager to take actions to address these.

Requirements

You will have experience in developing relationships with customers and clients, with experience and/or knowledge across digital marketing channels: Affiliates, CRO, Email, PPC, SEO and Social. You will also be used to achieving individual and team targets, and be confident in providing appropriate insight, opinion and suggestions based on knowledge and understanding of either the client or the digital marketing channels to help deliver challenging, innovative and forward-thinking strategies.

Requirements for the role
  • Ideally have experience working within either marketing, digital, or ecommerce
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Keen interest and/or experience in consultative relationship building
  • Have a good understanding of the digital landscape and how to apply this knowledge to business
  • Knowledge and appreciation of ecommerce and digital marketing
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong workload management and prioritisation skills
  • Well presented, well-spoken, articulate and professional
  • Determined, driven and willing to learn
  • Supportive and ability to mentor others
  • Curious about clients’ businesses and sectors
  • Able to manage multiple projects, budgets and events.
  • Able to work effectively with a variety of different people.
