Job Duties:
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Following the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered
- Collaborating with other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the school
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a teacher in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
Effective classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience working as a supply teacher
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in a school classroom setting
Interact with students, school staff, and parents on a regular basis
Potential for temporary assignments in different schools
Adherence to school policies and procedures
