A secondary school based in South Birmingham is looking to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented Exams Officer. The role will be 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday and term time only.

Your new role

It is essential that you have previous experience of working as an exams officer in a school environment.

The role will be to oversee all aspects of examination management within the school. This will include responsibility for the administration, organisation and smooth running of internal and external examinations. This will entail overseeing the arrangements for all mock and public examination entries, co-ordinating the team of invigilators, including recruitment, training, management and deployment of invigilation staff and making appropriate timetabling and room arrangements for all examinations and ensure proper examination invigilation is put in place.

What you'll need to succeed

You MUST have strong school administration experience. You will be a highly organised individual with the ability to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines. You will also have school system data experience, as well as strong administration skills to fulfil all parts of the role.

You will be a self-motivated individual with a flexible approach. You will require a clear DBS for this role.
