Occupational Therapist Band 6
Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational therapy social services team in the Huyton area. This is an exciting opportunity to provide & complete home assessments for aids and adaptations which includes minor and major works with preferable knowledge of major adaptations and disabled facilities grant.
Contract is temporary duration with full time hours required (Monday to Friday between 8:30 / 16:30). Salary from £37,338 - £44,962 per annum pro rata.
In this role, you will:
Provide service users with a range of adaptations and equipment to allow them to continue to live as safely and independently as possible.
Contribute to an environment that works with local services to provide evidence based assessment and delivery of care.
Adapt a flexible approach to working hours to ensure that the needs of their clients are met.
Requirements- Relevant professional OT qualification
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Preferable knowledge of Major adaptations and disabled facilities grant
- Desirable to hold a post graduate accredited study e.g. PSI, CBT, MSc in relevant health studies.
- Full UK Drivers License and Access to a Car
