About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to support the delivery of our marketing and recruitment strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to help increase learner recruitment across various demographics, including 16-18-year-olds, degree-level students, adult learners, and apprentices.
You will create and coordinate marketing campaigns, manage both short and long-term projects, and write engaging content for various promotional materials such as course guides, adverts, press releases, and website content. You will also ensure a steady flow of communications on digital platforms, including social media, and in local media, such as press and radio.
Your role includes account management of marketing and promotion, with some travel required. You will collaborate with teaching departments to support recruitment and work alongside the Marketing Team, including Graphic Designers and Digital Officers, to create a variety of digital and print media to promote the college's offerings.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote centres.
Write and edit content for various promotional materials, websites, and social media.Coordinate media opportunities, events, and communications with local press and radio.
Manage marketing and promotional activities for our centres.
Collaborate with internal teams and teaching departments to support recruitment efforts.
Travel to other campus locations for meetings and cross-campus support.
Requirements: Proven experience and skills in marketing, including planning and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.Level 3 qualification in marketing or a related field; a degree or equivalent qualification in digital marketing is desirable.
Department Information:
You will report to the Marketing and Campaigns Manager, who will provide direction while you manage and prioritise your day-to-day tasks. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all projects are completed on time.
