Part-Time SEN Tutor - Education and Training
Salary: £20 - £30 Per Hour
Job Description:We are looking for passionate and experienced tutors to join our team! This temporary, part-time position offers the opportunity to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will focus on delivering tailored tuition in Maths, English, and Science for around 10-15 hours per week.
The role requires patience, understanding, and the ability to create an encouraging learning environment for each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Maths, English, and Science to students with SEN
- Develop personalized learning plans and resources to suit individual student needs
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain open communication with parents, carers, and relevant professionals
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Education or a related field
- Proven experience working with students with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Degree in Education, Special Education, or related subject
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Solid understanding of the UK education system
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience with assistive technology in the classroom
- Background in working with students who have specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours: 10-15 hours per week
- Temporary position with potential for extension
