St John's Infant School are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to help progress children and inspire them to learn new things. The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children’s learning, undertaking playground duties, preparing resources and assisting the class teacher.
In addition, there may be the opportunity to undertake the role of Midday Supervisor attached to the existing working pattern.Start Date: As soon as possibleSalary: PS3 Actual £10,978 (FTE £23,576) Contract: Fixed Term until 22nd July 2025. Hours: 20 hours per week term time What we are looking for: ● GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths ● The ability to read and write fluently and confidence in maths ● Self-confidence, common sense and maturity ● A good sense of humour and effective communication skills ● Adaptability and enthusiasm ● SEN experience (desirable but not essential).
