What the day will look like
As an Operations Manager at AGRC, your day will be dynamic and engaging, involving a combination of operational oversight, risk and compliance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with business colleagues and leaders through reliable and timely delivery, attendance to the London office a minimum average of 2.5 days a week, attending team meetings, etc.
- In conjunction with Finance and Revenue Operations, oversee working capital and order-to-cash processes to ensure financial targets are met.
- Report to Commercial Risk and Operations forums to provide insights and updates on operational performance.
- Champion productivity tools such as Templafy and SharePoint to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
- Provide cover to other Operations colleagues within the team as needed.
Risk & Compliance:
- Collaborate closely with Risk & Compliance, Governance and Financial Crime teams, ABS and the business to monitor and maintain compliance within Aon UK’s regulatory environment and governance procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and training to colleagues.
- Liaise with the business and Aon Shared Services to ensure business continuity and operational resilience plans are up to date.
- Act as the data privacy champion within the business, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Continuous Improvement and Change:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and enhance the client and colleague experience.
- Liaise with Change Operations around programmes of work, ensuring projects are delivered within risk appetite and in alignment with business objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills and experience that will lead to success- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably within consulting or financial services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build relationships and trust.
- Results-driven, compliance-focused, and passionate about operational excellence, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Well-developed influencing skills to effectively persuade and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, information gathering, and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of FCA regulations and change management principles.
