Sales Administrator & Shop Sales Assistant
- Processing orders, completing paperwork, selecting stock of ordered items, packing and entering order details into courier websites and labelling orders ready to send.
- Serving customers in the showroom (motorcycle gear – bike leathers, boots, helmets etc – training will be given).
- Answering the phone and dealing with customer queries.
- Managing the email subscription list, creating and sending relevant email info.
- Keeping the showroom stocked and tidy.
The candidate must be comfortably computer-proficient as you may be required to learn how to use Photoshop, carry out some website duties and help build social media campaigns to assist the in-house Sales Optimisation Administrator with these tasks (training will be given).
The perfect candidate will have the following attributes:- Computer-proficiency – MUST be able to use simple databases, word processors etc.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Good customer service ideals with a confident, polite and friendly manner.
- Be able to organise their workload keeping everything tidy and in order.
- Be able to work under their own initiative while also being comfortable liaising with fellow team members where necessary.
- Be willing to learn new skills in order to assist the Sales Optimisation Administrator.
It would be very beneficial if you are already familiar with software like Photoshop, email subscription services etc. If not, these skills can be gained on the job. But you must be comfortable enough using a computer to carry out mail order duties using a database, invoicing, word processing etc.
This role is 4 or 5 days a week, including every Saturday.
