Temporary Maths Teacher
Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join an enthusiastic and nurturing team on a temporary basis. This role will take the successful candidate through to the end of the year. This is a well established school in the Portsmouth area where they provide education for students, not just for academic progress but to help develop them into self-reflective learners.
This postition could be permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A current DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to undergo a new DBS check
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
