You'll be at the forefront of developing proactive autonomous security capabilities that safeguard Amazon's infrastructure, customers, and innovations at global scale.
Key job responsibilities- Lead and grow a team of software engineers developing AI-powered security automation solutions.
- Own the technical vision and architecture for next-generation security products.
- Drive strategic technical decisions in partnership with senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain high standards for engineering excellence and operational performance.
- Collaborate across Amazon's ecosystem to deliver security solutions that scale with our business. Mentor and develop engineering talent while building a strong technical culture.

- Experience working directly within engineering teams
- Experience managing engineers
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience in engineering- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
