The Governing Body of Heronsbridge School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our busy office.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can work well within a team and undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties which will include, minute taking, various typing of confidential reports and other documents.You must be able to demonstrate a high and accurate standard of typing and word processing skills. As well as possessing these skills you must also be able to welcome all guests / visitors to the school in a positive and friendly manner which projects a good image of the school.
Some knowledge of the SIMS package would be advantageous but is not essential; however, candidates must be computer literate and have excellent word processing and numeracy skills. The ability to work within tight timescales is an essential requirement for the post.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
