Construction Secretary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Construction Secretary for a large housing project in Llantrisant on a temporary basis.

Hours of work would be 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

The work is a temporary contract starting on the 7th October with a 2 day handover. Then running over the course of a month, Finishing on the 4th of November.

Duties will include:

• Updating construction programmes and running reports on COINs
• Actioning H&S / IQC inspections on COINs
• Liaising with site, office staff and agencies
• Collating information for meetings
• Sending and actioning emails
• Updating spreadsheets
• Lunch time cover for Reception (on a rota basis)

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience within an office environment
• Computer literate with experience of a number of different packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Ability to be well organised, self-motivated with high attention to detail
• Be able to multitask and work to targets
