English Teacher
The successful candidate will teach across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 if applicable), delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ literacy, analytical skills, and theatrical abilities. This role begins June 2025.
Duties as an English and Drama Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English and Drama.
- Inspire a love for literature, storytelling, and performance.
- Support students in GCSE and A-Level English/Drama exams (if applicable).
- Organise and direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students.
- Work closely with colleagues to enhance the English and Drama curriculum.
Ideal English and Drama Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English, Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
- Experience or enthusiasm for teaching both English and Drama.
- A passion for literature, theatre, and creative expression.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as an English and Drama Teacher.
- The ability to direct and support school productions and drama clubs.
