We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English & Drama Teacher to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in both English Literature and Language while also nurturing their creativity and confidence through Drama.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 if applicable), delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ literacy, analytical skills, and theatrical abilities. This role begins June 2025.

Duties as an English and Drama Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English and Drama.
  • Inspire a love for literature, storytelling, and performance.
  • Support students in GCSE and A-Level English/Drama exams (if applicable).
  • Organise and direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
  • Foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students.
  • Work closely with colleagues to enhance the English and Drama curriculum.

Ideal English and Drama Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in English, Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for teaching both English and Drama.
  • A passion for literature, theatre, and creative expression.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as an English and Drama Teacher.
  • The ability to direct and support school productions and drama clubs.
