We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-time Teacher to join our dedicated team at a Poulton-le-Fylde School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Year 4 class in our KS2 department.
As a Part-time Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of the students in your class. You will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum. You will also work closely with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will be confident in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support when needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns
- Manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
