Our apprenticeship opportunities at SYSTRA will be going live in the next few weeks and we expect to have opportunities in the below:
- Level 6 Transport Planning
- Level 4 Data Analyst
- Level 3 Digital Engineering
Missions/Main Duties:
The primary role of an Apprentice is to provide technical support to project teams by undertaking specialist and technical tasks that support the overall objectives set by the Lead engineer. The main duties are to:
- To work effectively and contribute to engineering solutions by the correct use of resources and time. This includes an understanding of project management systems, tools and techniques as they are applied to the design and construction process.
- Support proposal development and help deliver work‐packages within projects
- Execute tasks to quality standards, to time and to budget
- Record and present information clearly
- Assist with on-site inspections and surveys where appropriate
Profile/Skills:
- Relevant grades for the course you have applied
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player
- A can-do attitude
- Interest in engineering/ Transport and a desire to learn
