Audit Manager Job Overview- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial audits in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Review and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and business development, collaborating with partners to expand client engagements
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Review automated audit work papers prepared by audit staff
- Responsible for corporation tax compliance function of portfolio of corporate clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- 70/30 split between audit and accounts
- ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with post qualification experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in audit, accounting, and tax, in a reputable accounting firm. Ideally 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in managing a portfolio of small to large clients
- Thorough understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS and other accounting and audit standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. With experience in coaching and mentoring staff
- Competitive salary dependant on experience, in the region of £70,000-£72,000
