Preston - Y3 Teacher
Hays have been approached by an Ofsted rated good school based in Preston who are looking to appoint a Year 3 class teacher on a full-time basis asap through until Summer, with the possibility of this being extended. This is a popular school within the community because of its commitment to children's learning and development.
The school will be looking for somebody who is adaptable and passionate about teaching and the role is open to NQTs/ECTs.
Your new role
This role will involve you undertaking full responsibilities as class teacher, meaning you will be planning and preparing lessons aimed to target pupil ability, marking and assessing pupil work and regularly feeding this back to parents. You should make these lessons fun and engaging for all pupils, and you will also have the help of an experienced TA on hand to assist with the class needs.
You will want to strive for academic growth and be committed to helping your pupils succeed. This school has a friendly and supportive staff network with emphasis placed on staff wellbeing.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply for the role.If you are not a qualified Teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you.
