A lovely family in Islington, London is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their toddler and school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. They seek an experienced, caring and easy going candidate who has a basic understanding of child development.

A confident cook who would be happy to follow recipes and prepare meals for the whole family is needed for this role. A pet friendly candidate who can walk their dog is ideal but is not a must. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus for this role.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Wednesday to Sunday; Wednesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 am to 11:30 am or 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, around 31 to 40 hours per week

Duties include:

Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
Playing with the children and taking them to the park
Reading to and playing with the children
Helping with homework
Implementing daily routines
Maintaining a clean family home
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
Deep cleaning the kitchen
Washing clothes
Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
Ironing
Making up the beds and changing the linens
Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Running any errands (post office, wrapping presents, dry cleaners etc)

The family seeks someone who can start immediately.
