Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join a vibrant school community temporarily. This role requires a full-time commitment, including planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of an English Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Contribute to the school community, including participation in staff meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
The Ideal English Teacher Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to delivering excellence in education.
- Have a current DBS check on the update service or be willing to undergo a new DBS application.
