The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science teacher to join our dynamic Science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for science and encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons in line with the national curriculum and the school’s ethos.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance pupil understanding and performance.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and respect for all.

What We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a strong background and experience teaching at KS3 and KS4.
• A passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring pupils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing training and collaboration.
• Knowledge of current educational practises and a commitment to improving pupil outcomes.
