We are recruiting Melt Operators to work Weekends on behalf of Cosma Casting, part of Magna International, a premier global automotive supplier on a temporary ongoing basis. Based in the Stafford Park are of Telford, working hours will Saturday and Sunday 6am - 6pm.

Candidate that are successful for the weekend shifts will be required to train on Double Days for a minimum of 6 weeks.
The role entails:
A pre-start check is made before commencing Charging- Ensure the furnace is correctly charged as per SWI
- Maintain all melt areas by ensuring that they are cleaned and drossed off as per SWI’S
- Provide a coin sample for Cast Chemistry Analysis by the met lab as per SWI and ensure
- Ensure K Mould samples are taken
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained, any issues or stoppages are reported to
logged accordingly as per company policies and procedures
- Provide break cover as and when required for Department
- Ensure that at the end of each shift that the melt area is left in a tidy and safe condition
communicated/escalated to the next shift
- Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements
Do you have:
Understanding of SWI'sUnderstanding of the HDPC Process
Experience in a Procuction environment
