Acting as a point of contact for the Technical Services Department in a customer facing role to promote the role of the Security Department across the Trust. Providing general security advice, information and guidance to all grades of staff and Trust clients, to gain their agreement and co-operation to enable staff to undertake their work efficiently and effectively.
To assist with security related risk assessments in all areas of the Trust to identify security weakness and formulate action plans to improve security, and be an integral part of the risk management strategy working closely with the Health and Safety Officer, Estates Fire Adviser, Head of Governance and the Risk Management Team to ensure a consistent approach to risk management: To assist with interpretation of statutory legislation and advise on the required standards necessaryto ensure compliance within the Trust.
To undertake: Routine and advanced sickness management to include reviews and the setting of targets. Performance Development Reviews. General counselling, arranging support where necessary. To ensure that security, portering and switchboard staff completes their duties in accordance with Trust Operational Procedures and monitor performance.
