Database Developer - 12 Month Contract
Contract: 1 Year Contract. Payable in Euros

Summary
A high-profile client is looking for a Security Cleared Database Developer to support the delivery of technical services for an international IT consultancy. This will encompass the maintenance of HRDS applications, the development and maintenance of PowerShell scripts, develop SQL dataset queries, and support the data administration of applications and interfaces.
The role is being offered as an on-site / off-site working pattern with a total of 7 weeks of the year based in their northern European office. Travel, food and accommodation expenses will be contributed to significantly by the company, and to be agreed in advance by both parties.
The contract is 1-year, with a January start, and the possibility to extend a further 3 years.
Previous experience working in the military is a necessity. Applications will not be considered otherwise.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts with external applications and APIs to facilitate data exchange and process automation
- Develop and generate SQL database queries, functions, scripts and stored procedures
- Support the data administration of HRDS applications and interfaces
- Develop and administer SSRS and Power BI reports
- Support the testing of applications' changes in the development, testing and validation environments
- Ensure data management tasks run smoothly
- Fluent English - written and oral
- A Master's / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Valid passport to facilitate international travel to northern Europe
- Security Clearance at military level - applications without this will not be considered
- Skillset: SQL, API, Power BI, PowerShell, SSRS, Active Directory, SharePoint
