This vacancy is for a part time role - 30 hours per week (10 hour shifts).
To contribute to the optimum delivery of care for the ophthalmic patient by assisting all healthcare and clinical staff to meet the needs for this group of patients.
To ensure that privacy and dignity is respected at all times.
To have a good understanding of the complex needs of this group of patients.
To assist the team in providing an excellent service at all times by ensuring a good knowledge of the patient and service requirements.
To perform Ophthalmic tests for our patients, to include, visual fields, to open tonometry, ECG, bloods, and autorefraction.
To participate in the weekend On-call rota where relevant.
