Streetworks Supervisor

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting for a Streetworks Supervisor to start immediately on a Water Treatment program to oversee the Groundworkers on site who are laying pipes, drainage and additional groundwork duties in the Dewsbury/Wakefield area.

Our Client is a small-medium civils sub-contractor who operates nationwide and works with award winning main contractors.
Job Description- Lead and manage streetworks operations, including roadworks, excavations, installations, and repairs, in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice (e.g., NRSWA, TMA).
- Supervising and overseeing the work carried out by the Groundworkers
- Reporting to the Site Agent daily on progress and any issues that may arise
- Ensuring all Groundworkers are performing tasks in line with Health and Safety procedures
- Completing any paperwork that is required - thoroughly and correct
- Liaise with local authorities, utilities companies, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate streetworks activities, obtain necessary permits and approvals, and minimise disruption to road users and residents.
- Hourly/Day Rate is negotiable - we can pay Umbrella or CIS
- Working Hours - 10-12 Hours per day
- Ongoing Contract

- NRSWA Ticket
- Previous experience as a Supervisor overseeing groundworks/large civil contracts
- SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Own transport/Driving Licence
- 2 recent work references if have not worked with Fawkes + Reece before.
