Job overview- To process outpatient appointments for New patients from GP ERS appointments and arrange for triage with Clinicians. Book patients appointments and monitor clinics
- To register patients onto waiting lists and generate all associated paper work in adherence with the Trust Outpatient Booking Procedures
- To check incoming email inbox(s) on a daily basis to keep up to date with departmental and Trust wide news and information
- To liaise with and act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff
- Escalate patient queries, complaints, capacity problems and general issues to the role’s line manager or relevant clinical staff as appropriate
- To monitor clinician clinics for Opening and closing for Annual Leave and ED cover.
- To check incoming email inbox(s) on a daily basis to keep up to date with departmental and Trust wide news and information
