Learning Support Assistant
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant, to join our hardworking and dedicated team to work supporting children across the school.
Your opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Assistant to join our team with immediate effect. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEN needs.The successful individual will support the Class Teacher in accessing an engaging curriculum. They will be a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and be a strong team player.
What we are looking forThe successful candidate should:
- Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
- Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
- Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
- Have experience of working with children
- Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
- Be a confident and clear communicator
- Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

The Details:
Hours: 30 hours per week, 38.6 weeks of the year (term time plus 3 days)
Salary: GLF Associate 2 - Actual salary £16202.07 FTE £22834Start Date: TBC
