Support Worker

• Hourly Rate £11.60 to £12.50
• Full Time 40.25 hours per week

The Old Vicarage provides a warm and welcoming home for up to 10 adults aged 18 and above.

Outside, our beautifully maintained gardens provide plenty of outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment

A day in the life of working at The Old Vicarage includes:

• Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment
• Support our individuals during recreational activities, outings and community integration
• Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our individuals, celebrating their achievements and milestones
• Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs
• Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise
• General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation

• A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
• Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs
• A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team
• Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
• Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts
• A driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous
