The Humanities Faculty at EGA is the top-performing department in the school, with a large number of students enthusiastically choosing to study more than one of the subjects on offer. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to lead our high-achieving team—a team dedicated to continually improving student outcomes and ensuring every child reaches her full potential, regardless of her starting point or background.
Geography is a particularly popular subject and is taught across all year groups. Our robust curriculum in Years 7–9 includes engaging opportunities for fieldwork each year, helping to bring learning to life. At Key Stage 4, all students are expected to take either History or Geography at GCSE, and we consistently see strong uptake and success in Geography.The Humanities department also offers a wide range of clubs and enrichment opportunities, including both local and international trips, fostering a rich and inspiring learning environment.
