We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a General Catering Assistant with previous kitchen or Front of House experience, with good communication skills and the ability to follow strict instructions.

The General Catering Assistant will ensure the kitchen and front-of-house areas are clean and organised, while helping prepare crockery, cutlery, and meals to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

As the General Catering Assistant you will have a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for delivering excellent service.

DUTIES

Your duties as a General Catering Assistant will include:

• Prepare all types of food in line with kitchen requirements or to pack meals as needed
• Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day duties in the kitchen and Front of House, ensuring that the required catering service is successfully delivered on a daily basis. This includes working as an effective team member
• Liaise and co-operate with the Chef manager and the Front of House manager, to follow and respect their requests and orders
• Preparation of meals and/or packing, observing all Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety requirements

• Kitchen Experience or Front of House Experience
• Ability to follow strict instructions in a systematic and consistent manner
• The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
