Project Coordinator - Education

Location: Head Office - Bromsgrove

This role offers a Hybrid Approach to Working. Occasional travel to sites nationwide will be required as part of this role

Salary: Up to £24,000 Per Annum Dependent Upon Experience

About the Role

Due to the success and continued growth within our Schools, we are looking for a passionate Project Co-Ordinator to support our new Projects Team in driving and delivering our growth strategy by working collaboratively with our wider Community to continually deliver outstanding services to young people.

Based at our Head Office in Bromsgrove, the Project Coordinator will have a crucial role in supporting the Project Managers and ensuring the smooth delivery and execution of all projects. The successful candidate will have sound administrative background and a keen interest in Project Management within the Education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with external parties to source a strong pipeline of suitable properties;
  • Undertake duties associated with growth projects including processing quotations, invoices and preparing business cases;
  • Support the Project Managers to obtain comparative quotes for procurement purposes;
  • Schedule key milestones, ensuring timelines are met and manage project schedules;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for projects and tenders;
  • Support the implementation and tracking of compliance schedules;
  • Maintain effective communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Identify and mitigate any project risks or issues in collaboration with the Project Manager;
  • Assist in tracking project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints;
  • Coordinate tasks and support allocation of resources effectively to meet project deadlines;
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies;
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, progress reports and compliance documentation;
  • Support the project team with site visits where necessary

Requirements for the role:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience and interest in Project Management;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams;
  • Proficiency in project management software/systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
