• B2E Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Management Business Analyst to join an Investment Management firm. This role focuses on providing business analysis services to build a robust Data Comprehension and Data Management capability within the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver key documentation, analysis, and business design artefacts to support the implementation of data management processes.

The project needs a consultant who has:

• Proven experience in designing and delivering data management and governance capabilities in Investment or Financial Services environments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data issues, root causes, and resolution strategies.
• Hands-on experience with data comprehension and management tools, including Data Quality tools such as Datactics, Informatica, or Collibra.

• The key services that you'll be asked to provide are:
• Gather and document business requirements, both functional and non-functional.
• Analyse multiple reporting requirements to inform design and development.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure business requirements are fully addressed.
• Develop business design artefacts and support the business acceptance testing phases.
• Conduct testing and analyse the impact of data sourcing changes.
• Manage sign-offs and approvals during business acceptance testing.
• Create Data Mapping Documents to support interfaces deployed within the Data Management platform.
• Specify reports, reporting views, and data quality rules.
• Develop operational control checks to ensure adherence to data quality governance and management principles.

• Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: PICK FROM
• Proven experience in designing and delivering data management and governance capabilities in Investment or Financial Services environments, with a focus on asset management, pensions, insurance, or investments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data issues, root causes, and resolution strategies.
• Hands-on experience with data comprehension and management tools, including Data Quality tools such as Datactics, Informatica, or Collibra.
• Strong facilitation skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders, and effectively document requirements for data management processes, rules, and service levels.
• Ability to work with business subject matter experts (SMEs), particularly in Investments, to simplify, redesign, and document optimal data processes and related controls.
• Solid understanding of standard Investment business processes, organisation design, data sources, and reference data.
• Strong business analysis skill set, with the ability to lead the respective BA workstream proactively, with a high focus on delivery and outcomes.
• Strong self-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate business analysis deliverables.

• It will also be advantageous if you:
• Have experience working for a Big 4 Consulting firm.
